Wall SCULPTURE
After art school abroad I was commissioned. to do a series of wall sculptures for a German client. The result was a study of natural forms executed in rich hardwoods, smooth and polished juxtaposed with the rough and textured. It was an exercise in a balanced composition that also became evident in succeeding furniture pieces. Years after, a Manila collector also asked for a wall piece. I created a rare charred object, delicate, and mysterious.
